Our Story

Fast Breaks Publishing was founded by siblings––former Duo Interpretation partners and 6-year competitors in the forensics world––who saw a need for affordable, easily accessible, and effective scripts for participants in Speech and Debate interpretation categories. Our co-founders were inspired to create the company after writing their own scripts together after tournaments, exasperated by the difficulty they had finding pieces that were well suited to the unique 10-minute storytelling style and struggling to find an avenue through which to publish them. They envisioned Fast Breaks as a Speech and Debate hub––a trusted, go-to resource for seasoned and beginner participants in competitive forensics alike.
